What is Rejuvapen™?

Rejuvapen™ is the name of a specific micro-needling treatment designed to improve collagen production, as well as treat hyperpigmentation and acne scars. The Rejuvapen™ itself is a small handheld device that’s placed directly over the treatment area, where it delivers lightning-fast micro-punctures to stimulate collagen growth.

Candidates for Rejuvapen™

The best candidates for Rejuvapen™ are people who want to improve their skin tone and texture without resorting to surgery or other more invasive treatments. These candidates may have excessive hyperpigmentation or acne scars from past breakouts; in these cases, Rejuvapen™ can help speed up cellular turnover to help minimize the appearance of complexion discoloration.

Rejuvapen™ can be used by pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and people with various skin tones and textures.

How Does It Work?

Rejuvapen™ is a handheld device that contains disposable micro-needle tips; the mechanized device quickly punctures the needle tips into the upper surface of the skin, thus creating controlled microscopic channels. When this happens, the body immediately triggers collagen production, which helps speed up cellular turnover while improving elasticity and firmness. The entire treatment itself usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the treatment area. For best results, a series of three to four treatments are recommended.

Is It Painful?

A Rejuvapen™ treatment isn’t painful; most clients compare it to the sensation of feeling sandpaper move across the skin. If you’re worried about feeling uncomfortable during the procedure, your esthetician can prep your skin using a numbing cream.

Is There Any Downtime?

There’s no downtime associated with Rejuvapen™ treatments. You may experience slightly red and swollen skin after your procedure, which should disappear after a few days. You will need to wear sunscreen after your treatment, as your newly-revealed skin will be sensitive to the sun.
