Are you interested in undergoing a brow lift to correct the appearance of drooping eyebrow skin and eyelids?
A brow lift is one of the best ways to get rid of excess skin that’s begun collecting around the eyebrows and eyelids. The brow lift is performed in such a way where the plastic surgeon is able to correct drooping forehead muscles and remove excess skin. The brow lift should lead to smoother, younger, and firmer-looking skin.
The results are certainly exciting, but exactly how long will it take to see those results? What’s the recovery time for a brow lift?
Recovery Time for a Brow Lift
The initial recovery time for a brow lift takes about two weeks; you may need to take about five days off of work, as this is when the primary bruising and swelling from your surgery will be present. You’ll need to avoid strenuous exercise for the first three weeks after your surgery, as this could interfere with your healing process. Your recovery period will be done around the four-to-six week mark, at which point your plastic surgeon may give you the green light to go back to your normal routine.

When You’ll See Results from Your Brow Lift
Your brow lift results will start to be visible about three to four weeks after your initial surgery; at this point, the bruising and swelling should have gone down enough to see your firmer and younger-looking skin. Minor swelling will still be present for the next few months, meaning you likely won’t see final results from your brow lift until about six months after the surgery.
